  • There's really something magical about group learning where people learn not just from me, but from observing how I coach others and benefitting from the questions that other people ask.

Instruction is both hands-on and verbal.

Learn the basics for how to improve your posture and feel good while doing it!

In these classes, you'll discover how to improve your posture and feel good while doing it! Here’s how

    • Taking charge of your posture helps you to be more in command of your body language, breathing, and voice.

    • You’ll feel more centered and balance and become more effective when interacting with others.

    • We’ll also explore activities activities that influence your overall well-being:  sitting, standing, using a computer/phone, speaking, walking, talking, carrying a bag.

  • Who classes are for

    • Group classes are open to adult women of any age who would like to work on their posture, breathing, movement and overall well-being. Sessions will help you to take charge of your posture and body language. You’ll feel more centered and balanced in your life in general and become more effective when interacting with others.

    • People often ask me if they are “too old”. I have never found this to be the case! In fact, I often find that age is a benefit.

    • If you are in a lot of pain, group classes may not be right for you at this time. If you’re not sure, contact me directly before booking so that this can be more clearly determined.

Fear-Free Running

4-Session Running Class Series in Montréal
For Women

Running is a great way to have fun, get fit, and maintain the energy that you want to put your best foot forward
— but just the word “run” can bring up fear and hesitation in a lot of women.

If running seems really hard in your mind or based on past experience, it might be because of:

  • Posture and breathing habits that are impacting your form and making running feel harder.

  • Burning yourself out by running to fast or too much at first (Most people don’t even realize they are doing this)

  • Just wanting to get it over with. Being present while you run is where the fun comes in.

  • Having trouble self-motivating (a group class is great to help with that!)

Meeting location: 266 rue Villeneuve O.  We'll then head to Jean Mance Park or Mount Royal Park.

All ages and fitness levels

Here's what to expect from the classes:

Getting started with a running practice or restarting after a pause or an injury can seem intimidating.  This class will help you get going so that you are able to keep going.

We will not be running nonstop for the whole hour and the classes are designed so that everyone can keep up.  During the time between classes 2 and 3, I will give you things to practice on your own.

The main points that we'll work on will be:

1) Form - Applying the principles of the Alexander Technique to help you be mindful as you move, improve posture, and breathing.   We'll also look at how to improve running mechanics to improve gait and avoid strain.

2) Ease and Enjoyment - The goal will be to enjoy the feeling of moving, not just to run harder and get it over with.  We'll do the walk-run method to help improve stamina with ease.

3) Pace, Cadence, and Rhythm - Often people start out running too fast and then burn out.  Pace, cadence (how many steps per minute you take), and the rhythm of your running all affect how effortful it feels.  Playing around with these elements can help you feel more energized as you run.

Insurance Coverage:  As a member of L’Académie des Naturopathes et Naturothéapeutes du Canada, I can provide insurance receipts.  Inquire with your provider for details on coverage for “naturopathy”.

Take Up Your Space and Project Your Voice!

8-Week Online Course for Women

Next run of this course will be in January 2026.
Dates will be announced in November.

Join my online course spread out over 8 weeks that you can participate in from the comfort of your own home!

It’s full of value, well organized, and very flexible — combining live classes based on the participants’ availability and materials that you can review and practice with at your own pace.

What you’ll learn: A step-by-step process to maintain better posture, breathing, and feel more relaxed present, and effective throughout your day and when you have to be “on”…whether that’s speaking in front of a group, participating in a meeting, networking, performing, or creating online video content.

Why online?: Online work has great benefit as you will learn how to change habits and be able to practice in your own environment.

Online work is also great for folks who need to fit classes into their work day, evening activiites, or who simply prefer learning from home…and for those of us in the northern hemisphere, it might be a cozier option than stepping out into the cold!

Why 8-weeks?

  • It’s an opportunity for transformation and to get consistant support to keep you accountable and implementing what you learn.

  • This course is designed for maximum flexibility without giving up the benefit of live interactive classes.

The live classes are combined with a targeted collection of video and audio resources that will help you practice what you need to work on most and work best with your learning style.

You’ll have ongoing access to all materials and class recordings after the 8 weeks as well!
